Alright, after watching that horribly played game by the G-Men, there are a few things which I have analyzed:
One: I blame this loss on the defense on the last drive by the Eagles, but mainly on the offensive line. It was atrocious. Jacobs couldn't run the ball, and Eli couldn't pass the ball because of how many guys they let in......
Second: for the people who think that this loss defines that the Giants are overrated and Eli isn't ELIte, you are wrong... To me, Eli and his receivers are the only ones Giants can count on during every Giants game. And for anyone who is wondering, that isn't a good thing at all. Fans used to be able to count on the pass rush, but that was totally stopped today, and all of a sudden, it was turned into a run defense..... But the thing I hate most is that Eli always has to come back in the 4th quarter from behind. Can't the Giants just once blow out a team or give Eli a break?
Three: For those of you Cowboys fans who are bragging right now and celebrating, you better watch out. The way I see it, the Cowboys are a similar team to the Giants. But the thing that is most similar is that they both play up/down to their opponent. For example, the Cowboys almost lost to the Redskins who had lost 4 of its last 5 games. So as we look ahead for the next three weeks, I see something that a lot of people don't see. The Cowboys play Miami, then Arizona, and finally, the New York football Giants. All bad teams. As for the G-Men, we play New Orleans, Green Bay, and the Cowboys. All good teams. So if we say that each team plays to the level of its opponent, I see 3 losses for the Cowboys, and 3 wins for the Giants. Now, that's not my prediction, but it works out that way in the end......
So in conclusion, that was a horrible loss for the Giants, and a horrible way to end the game. For those who hate the Giants, wait and see what happens, and for those who are fans of the Cowboys, watch out for trap games and hope that the G-Men don't kill you 3 weeks from now, which could decide who will win the division. At the same time, Giants fans can only hope that they will not fall apart, but I still see them fighting to win this division and still see them winning it....
