Part 2 coming 'atcha now! Let's go over the tight end position, the defense, and the kickers for each NFC East team.
1. Tight End: Jake Ballard (Giants). Jake Ballard has emerged as a great tight end that Eli relies on during third downs and short touchdowns. If Jake can break through of coverages during this redskins game, he could have multiple receptions and maybe even multiple touchdowns! Maybe that's a little to crazy, but he's been having a breakout season this year, and their could be many more to come.
2. Defense. Giants. Now, I now that the Giants are ranked 28th in overall defense in the entire league, but their matchup is too "juicy" to pass on. Rex Grossman is looking to have his 9th straight game with an interception, and that could be huge for this Giants game. They are mad about all of the blown coverages last week against the Cowboys, and they think that they could do better. Why didn't I choose the Redskins or Eagles' defenses? Well, they each go against good offenses (particularly in the Redskins game), and I don't know if I can trust the Eagles defense yet. Last week they looked good, but now they go against a team with a pretty good quarterback and great wide-receivers. So I can't say that I like either one of these defenses.
3. Kicker. All of them...... These two games today will most likely have high scores in them. They Giants will score some touchdowns, so I see Tynes getting mostly extra points. But Graham Gano of the Redskins could have a great game against this Giants defense. Same with the Eagles. They might not get close to scoring a touchdown every time, but they could get into field goal range a lot. Look for these guys to have good games.
Alright, that's it from the Best of the Best segments. In just a little bit, I will be posting my predictions for this week, so stay tuned. I wish your favorite team and players good luck, as we prepare for another great Sunday of football.
