Giants vs. Jets Rapid Reaction
Wow. What a great game. Just when you thought the Giants were going to win, they let the Jets come back. But then, their defense came in and manhandled the Jets. That was a really great defensive showing by both teams... The Giants did great on defense, with lots and lots of sacks and interceptions. And there could have been a lot more interceptions if the refs didn't make some questionable calls. What a great game, but I can't write much now. I have to go to church and then my family's house tonight, so more coverage later on tomorrow on all of the NFC East games. I can't wait to see this Week 17 game against the Cowboys that will decide the division. And big news coming from that game: Tony Romo was injured. Nobody knows how much that will impact his play next week, but he is out of this Eagles game right now. Have a great Christmas everyone, and I hope to see you later tomorrow.....

Ok..... This is going to be a short post because of the limited time I had today. My record for last week was pretty bad, with an 0-2 record. But this week, we are going to go 3-0.... Here are my picks:
1. Giants vs. Jets: There's a lot of smack talk going on in the big apple this week, but Eli Manning and company will pull the win out of their hats, with Eli driving down the field to score a game-winning touchdown against this Jets defense to make the final score 31-28.
2. Redskins vs.Vikings: This Redskins team will keep their winning streak going against a very bad team, winning this game by a score of 27-10.
3. Cowboys vs. Eagles. This game is HUGE if the Giants lose. But if that doesn't happen, the Cowboys are still in contention for a wild card spot, so I don't think they'll rest their starters. That being said, I still don't think it's enough for the Cowboys to win, so I have the Eagle winning by a final score of 38-35.
Good luck to all of these NFC East teams! And also to you guys as well! I hope you have a great Christmas Eve, and make sure you stay tuned in to the Romanski Report for some analysis after all of this weeks games!

Best of the Best Week 16 Part 2
Alright, now it's time for Part 2. This time, we'll be going over tight ends, defenses, and kickers. Let's get started:
1. Tight End: Brent Celek (Eagles), and Jason Witten (Cowboys). These two guys will have the best games this week, and ironically, will play each other. Brent Celek had a phenomenal game last week against the Jets and looks to continue his play this week in a very important game. Jason Witten has always been a great player this season, but these guys could be the difference in this game. Whichever team can shut these tight ends down, I believe, will win the game. As for the Redskins, I don't think that their other tight ends can step it up after losing Davis. And the Jake Ballard for the Giants is not looking good this week with a bad knee sprain.... So neither of these teams look as though they will have a good tight end on Saturday.
2. Defense: Redskins and Giants. This week, I don't like the Eagles or the Cowboys defense because, they play against each other. In my opinion, this game will be a very high scoring affair. I mean, you've got Tony Romo on one side, and you have Vick and McCoy on the other side. How many defenses can stop them? This Redskins defense, on the other hand, surprised everyone with their dominant performance against the Giants last week, an they should be able to do it again against the Vikings, as long as they stop Adrian Peterson. But I really think this defense will come out inspired from their performance last week. Now, as for the Giants, they have not looked good all year. This Redskins game they just played, they gave up 7 3rd down conversions..... That's incredibly bad! But, keep in mind that you are playing Sanchez. If the Giants' front 4 can put pressure on Sanchez, he could have a horrible game. And I believe that the Giants will do that. In my opinion, this will be a low to middle-scoring game, so I look for the Giants' defense to play fairly well.
3. Kicker: Lawrence Tynes (Giants). This Giants-Jets game is the only game that I don't see being a high scoring affair. When the Giants play this good Jets defense, their not going to score touchdowns every time.... So look for Tynes to boot some nice field goals through the uprights. The Redskins will likely score touchdowns, or won't score at all in their Vikings game. The Cowboys and Eagles will score touchdowns almost every time they have the ball. So I like Tynes a lot in this Jets game, and could potentially kick the game winning field goal.
Well, that's it for Week 16. I hope you liked it, and hopefully you agreed with my picks, since I didn't have any suggestions for positions. Tomorrow, I will have a few more stories, as well as my picks for all 3 Saturday games. See you tomorrow!

Best of the Best Week 16
Alright guys, it's time again for the Best of the Best segment for Week 16. Last week was little bad because of some unexpected performances from the Giants/Redskins game, but I think we can do better this week. In this segment, I will give you some advice on who you should start on your fantasy teams, or just an overall layout of each game this Saturday. Let's get started:
1. Quarterback: Eli Manning (Giants), Michael Vick (Eagles), and Tony Romo (Cowboys). First, we'll start off with the rival game: Eagles vs. Cowboys. Boy, who would've thought the Eagles would have a very good chance to make the playoffs at this point in the season. But when you look at these two quarterbacks, you have to say that they will perform great. Sure, Michael Vick has only thrown a couple of touchdowns for the past few games, but he's going against this Rob Ryan defense who has lost a lot of games for the Cowboys. But when I look at Tony Romo, I get a little scared. This Eagles defense has played extremely well these last few games, and I don't think they will just lay an egg in an important game. But, Tony Romo is arguably playing the best at this quarterback position in the NFC East. I'm not totally sold on Romo, but he could be a solid play. Now to Eli Manning. Look, he threw 3 interceptions last week against the Redskins, but I don't think they were his fault. The corners for the Redskins made 2 great interceptions off of him (tipped ball and one-handed catch) and another was Manningham's fault for not running the right route. But I still like him a lot in this game. He's got a talented group of receivers if they would only catch the ball for him. I like him to play the best game in this division this week.
2. Running Back: McCoy (Eagles), Bradshaw (Giants). These two running backs are the best in the division because of their speed and playmaking abilities, so I think they will have a great game. McCoy is playing the best of any running back, with 5 or 6 touchdowns in his last 2-3 games. He is exploding off the line and no one seems to be able to stop him. Bradshaw had less success last week because the Giants got down early. He had 9 carries for 58 yards and a touchdown, which is a good average. So I like him against this Jets defense who is 16th in defending the rush. Look for him to have a great day. Many of you are probably asking, "What about Helu with the Redskins?" Well, he would be a great play, if he was 100% healthy. He sustained some injuries against the Giants, and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play at all. This Redskins organization is trying to prepare for next season, and Helu is very much a part of their plan.
3. Wide Receivers: All of them. This division is certainly not hurting in the WR position. I mean, you take the Giants who, in my opinion, are the best in the division when it comes to their wide receivers. Nicks had a horrible game last week, but I think that all three of their receivers will bounce back in a must-win situation. Next, look at the Cowboys. With Bryant, Austin, and Robinson, they are playing at a great level as well. If Tony Romo can have some success against this red-hot Eagles defense, they could have a big day as well. The Redskins also have some talented receivers in Gaffney, who has become great the last few games, and Moss, who has slipped in under the radar. In a game against the 2-12 Vikings, these guys could have some success in scoring some points, especially if Helu doesn't start. And lastly, we come to the Eagles. I don't know about these guys. They have a lot of talent and speed, but can we trust them after what happened in the beginning of the season? And what about McCoy? Doesn't he hurt the chances of Vick throwing more often if McCoy is having a great season? I don't know, but I like them this game against this Rob Ryan defense. They could have a huge game if Vick can limit his turnovers.
Well, that's it for Part 1 of the Best of the Best Week 16. Part 2 will be up later, so stay tuned, and make sure to subscribe to me via email to be notified when I post more articles. Leave a comment about who I left out, or your opinions on who should be in the Best of the Best, and I will take them all into consideration. See you later!

Cowboys and Giants Playoff Scenarios
Since the Cowboys have the lead of the division by one game to the Giants heading into these last few weeks, they have the most playoff scenarios. So let's get started.
1. If the Cowboys beat the Eagles OR the Giants beat the Jets in Week 16, the Eagles are eliminated.
2. If the Eagles lose either one of their final two games -- Week 16 in Dallas or Week 17 against the Redskins -- they are eliminated.
3. If the Cowboys and Giants both win in Week 16, the winner of the Week 17 Cowboys-Giants game will be division champ.
4. The Cowboys are the only one of the three teams that can clinch the division in Week 16. The Giants and Eagles could both be eliminated by Week 16 results. The Cowboys cannot.
So as you can see, there are a lot of different ways each team can win the division. We'll see how these change after this week! Have a good day, and stay tuned in to my blog for some more posts. Make sure to enter your email above to be notified when I post some more stuff!
- Cowboys win and the Giants win: The winner of Week 17's matchup (Cowboys vs. Giants) will win the division.
- Eagles beat the Cowboys and the Giants win: Again, the winner of week 17's matchup will win the division.
- Cowboys win and the Jets beat the Giants: Giants are out of the playoff race, and the Cowboys clinch the division.
- Eagles beat the Cowboys, the Jets beat the Giants, the Eagles beat the Redskins and the Giants beat the Cowboys Week 17: Eagles win the division because of their tiebreaker between all three teams.
- Eagles beat the Cowboys, Jets beat the Giants, Redskins beat the Eagles, and the Giants beat the Cowboys: The Giants clinch the division with their 2-0 tiebreaker over the Cowboys.
- Eagles beat the Cowboys, Jets beat the Giants, Redskins beat the Eagles, and the Cowboys beat the Giants: Cowboys are division champs.
- Eagles beat the Cowboys, Jets beat the Giants, Eagles beat the Redskins, and the Cowboys beat the Giants: Cowboys are division champs.

Eagles Still in the Playoff Hunt!
Wow..... Who would've thought that after a 3-4 start, the Eagles would comeback and have a great chance at the division! Especially when the Giants lead them by 3 games! But here we are now with 2 games left in the season, and the Eagles have comeback with a great chance at the playoffs. Here is their playoff scenarios.
First, they have to win this week against the Cowboys. If they lose, all is lost. But, if you think about it, they have a really good chance, especially since their defense is red hot after the last 2 games. Not only that, the Cowboys have a horrible defense, and if Vick can get the passing game going and McCoy can keep up his dominant performance, they have a great chance. But they have to rely on a Giants loss against the Jets. This is a BIG game. If the Giants win, that knocks out the Eagles for the playoff run. But, just for fun, let's say the Giants lose. The Eagles then have to take care of business against a hard Redskins defense. If that happens, they need the Giants to beat the Cowboys, because they own the tiebreaker between the Giants and the Cowboys after their week 16 games against them. But as you can see, the Eagles have to depend on a lot of things for this to happen.
Stay tuned for the Giants and Cowboys playoff scenarios as we go over this crazy division.

Rapid Reaction Giants vs. Redskins
Here are a few things that come out of the Redskins domination of the New York Giants.....
Wow. This Giants team played so bad today and everything went wrong today. There is so much inconsistency. For once this season, Eli Manning was asked to do too much. Especially when the refs called back that touchdown pass from Ware. Eli had to throw 2 straight touchdowns in order to get a touchdown, but none of them were touchdowns. Besides the penalty on the second one, the refs called a horrible no touchdown off of a bobble ball in the endzone. I look at the Green Bay game, and I see a bobbled touchdown that was called a touchdown. I looked at the Cowboys game yesterday where, I think it was Miles Austin, caught a touchdown pass that was bobbled, and still called a touchdown... What happens there???? I don't understand how you are this bad against arguably one of the worst offenses in the league, and I don't understand how everyone drops every throw that Eli makes. They're almost always pretty good throws, but every time, there is always something wrong with his receivers, whether it's a bad route or just a complete drop.... Why??????? Why? The good news (if you can call it good news after the game today) is that the Giants can win their next 2 games, and then their in the playoffs..... But that's definitely not a given against the Jets and the Cowboys.
As for the skins, they just outplayed the Giants on every level. They shut down the explosive Giants offense, they won the turnover battle off of tipped passes, and their defense played outstanding. Rex Grossman was able to control the game with the run game and short pass game, and this just has to be very exciting. Unfortunately, it comes at a bad time... Why did you wait until now to start playing well? But we'll see what happens in the crazy next 2 weeks.
Next week, the Giants play the Jets in a pivotal game for both teams, and the Redskins play Vikings in a meaningless game. Good luck to both teams...... See you later.

Week 14 NFC East Predictions
Two great games this weekend that could decide the division. Last night, the Cowboys won, putting them in first for the division, but if the Giants win today, they re-take the division with the tie-breaker over the Cowboys. Last week, I went 2-1 in these games, with a 4-3 record overall. This week, I hope to go 2-0 to safely put my record over the .500 mark. Here we go:
Giants vs. Redskins. The way I see this game, it could go 3 ways: 1. Giants win in a blowout, 2. Giants win in a very close game, 3. Redskins win in a close game. I wanna say that the first two have a 45% chance each of happening. That leaves a 10% chance of the third option happening. But I'm going to pick the 1st one. I say the Giants win 35-17 in a much needed blowout for the Giants. The last time the Giants won by more than four was against the Eagles in Week 3 when they won by 13. I believe that the Giants end that streak and pull off a much needed win.
Eagles vs. Jets. This is a great matchup. They both are shooting for the playoff, with the Jets having a more likely chance. They both have explosive running backs and pretty good offenses. But, the defense will decide this game, and that means that the Jets will win. This Jets defense is one of the best in the league and have proven themselves this year. But when I look at this Eagles defense, I don't have a lot of confidence in them. Sure, last week they played a pretty good game, but that was against the Dolphins. Now you're going against a team that is determined to make the playoff and will play their hardest in this game. I see the Jets winning 28-20.
I wish your teams the best luck today in their games, and stay tuned in later for some more analysis. This time, I promise I will post some blogs after the games, as last week, I kind of slacked off..... See you later!

Best of the Best Week 14 Part 2
Part 2 coming 'atcha now! Let's go over the tight end position, the defense, and the kickers for each NFC East team.
1. Tight End: Jake Ballard (Giants). Jake Ballard has emerged as a great tight end that Eli relies on during third downs and short touchdowns. If Jake can break through of coverages during this redskins game, he could have multiple receptions and maybe even multiple touchdowns! Maybe that's a little to crazy, but he's been having a breakout season this year, and their could be many more to come.
2. Defense. Giants. Now, I now that the Giants are ranked 28th in overall defense in the entire league, but their matchup is too "juicy" to pass on. Rex Grossman is looking to have his 9th straight game with an interception, and that could be huge for this Giants game. They are mad about all of the blown coverages last week against the Cowboys, and they think that they could do better. Why didn't I choose the Redskins or Eagles' defenses? Well, they each go against good offenses (particularly in the Redskins game), and I don't know if I can trust the Eagles defense yet. Last week they looked good, but now they go against a team with a pretty good quarterback and great wide-receivers. So I can't say that I like either one of these defenses.
3. Kicker. All of them...... These two games today will most likely have high scores in them. They Giants will score some touchdowns, so I see Tynes getting mostly extra points. But Graham Gano of the Redskins could have a great game against this Giants defense. Same with the Eagles. They might not get close to scoring a touchdown every time, but they could get into field goal range a lot. Look for these guys to have good games.
Alright, that's it from the Best of the Best segments. In just a little bit, I will be posting my predictions for this week, so stay tuned. I wish your favorite team and players good luck, as we prepare for another great Sunday of football.

Alright, that's it from the Best of the Best segments. In just a little bit, I will be posting my predictions for this week, so stay tuned. I wish your favorite team and players good luck, as we prepare for another great Sunday of football.
Best of the Best Week 14 Part 1
Alright guys, it's time for some much needed predictions on who will play the best in Week 14 in each of their positions. Once again, you can take this post and use it in 2 ways:
1. As a fantasy predictor on who you should play this week
2. The key matchups for your teams heading into Week 14 that could help your team win the game.
And now that's over with, let's get started with each position. Since the Cowboys already played last night and won, I will not include any of their players, so it will just be the Giants, Redskins, and Eagles.
1. Quarterback: Eli Manning (Giants). This guy is the only guy (besides maybe Tony Romo) that I would have on my team at this point in the season. I think that he is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and why would it stop now against this Redskins secondary? With Cruz and Nicks at his disposal, this could be a high scoring game against the Redskins. But many of you will ask, "What about Rex Grossman?" Well, I'll admit, the Giants secondary is downright horrible, and the Redskins have had good performances out of their receivers as well. But Rex has thrown at least one interception in the last eight games, so I don't see a great performance out of him.
2. Running Back: Roy Helu (Redskins), Bradshaw and Jacobs (Giants), and McCoy (Eagles). Let's start with Roy Helu. This guy has been amazing the past few weeks, and still could be amazing this week. Although the Giants can stop the run fairly well, there are a lot of injuries in their secondary and line that could help Helu. I think he can get a big game out of this defense. Now, Bradshaw and Jacobs. Jacobs has performed extremely well the past two weeks and has shown signs of his old bruising self. I look for big game for not only him, but Bradshaw as well. If the Giants can throw good screen passes, they could have this game beat at the end of the first half. But McCoy, I was a little unsure about. This Jets defense has really improved in the last few weeks, but they are injury-riddled. McCoy could have a big game, or he could be shut down depending on how this game starts out early.
3. Wide Receivers: Giants and Redskins. These Giants' wide receivers are the best, not only in the division, but I would also say, in the entire league! Hakeem Nicks had a huge performance last week, with 8 receptions for 168 yards! Victor Cruz has also been great with his athletic ability to break tackles. Mario Manningham is a great receiver for Eli as well because of his ability to break off from the corner. I see a big game this week if the Giants want to throw it a lot, which they have been doing for almost the entire season. But for the Redskins, these receivers could have a big game against this bad Giants secondary. Jabar Gaffney has really emerged as their best receiver, and if the Giants play like they did against the Cowboys, there could be blown coverages everywhere...
So that's it for these three positions. I have decided to break this up into two posts, otherwise it would be too long for you guys to read. So stay tuned in to this blog, as Part 2 should be up in about 20 minutes.

I'm Back, Baby! And Also, Some Predictions...
That's right guys, I'm back. I apologize for my 2 weeks leave of absence, but I had so much homework and projects that I didn't have time to write anything. But, I now bring you the predictions for the Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, and Redskins games. Here we go:
1. Redskins vs. Patriots. Boy, the Redskins showed some signs of a pretty good team the past few weeks, but they also have their bad times, like last week against the Jets in the second half. Now, they face a hot Patriots team, but this game could be closer than expected. The Redskins defense has been pretty good the past few games, and the Patriots only do well on their offense. As for the Patriots' defense, they are pretty horrible, but then against, the Redskins offense is also pretty bad. So because of this, I have the Patriots winning this one, 35-21.
2. Eagles vs. Dolphins. This, my friends, is a great matchup. The Eagles are losing pretty bad in the last few games, but the Dolphins are on a roll. The good news for the Eagles is that Vick and Jeremy Maclin are back for this game, and that could provide a spark in this team. But, this game will be decided by Reggie Bush. Can he get his team a run game and return game? I give the Dolphins a win this week, 24-21.
3. Cowboys vs. Giants. One of the biggest games of the season for both teams. They both have great passing games, good running games, and horrible defenses. So how is this game going to play out? Tony Fiametta for the Cowboys is coming back this game to help with the running game, while Ahmad Bradshaw is back again to provide a spark to the Giants' already talented offense. This game comes down to momentum and emotion. The Cowboys come off a shocking loss to the Cardinals, while the Giants come off of a heart-breaking loss to the Packers. Not much momentum for either team there, but I believe the Giants will have more emotion. They are confident now, the believe they can play with anyone, and they despise the Cowboys. This will be a high-scoring game, with the Giants taking the win, 35-28.
Good luck to all of these games. I'm 2-2 on the season, so hopefully we can get a 4-0 week this week. Stay tuned later for reactions to all of these games.
